After opening the box this stool was found to be very sturdy and much heavier than expected. I though it might be so low grade material, but how wrong I was. The legs fold open by pressing a small release on each leg. Very simple and takes about a minute or less. The steps have 3 height adjustments which are adjusted by pressing on a spring loaded ball bearing and moving the leg up or down. You may need a hard object to press the button in as it it stiff and sturdy. The top case an attached rubber type cover and a plastic carry handle on the side. I am very happy with this item and no gripes.

Very sturdy and doesn’t slide when in use . We are using it to get in and out of bed after having hip surgery. It’s adjustable for height , great product .

I have a footstool about the same size. It would skid on the floor, so it’s not usable. I am able to step on this and change my kitchen calendar. It is much more comfortable, stable, and safer than pulling out a bottom drawer, holding onto the bottom of the cabinet, and stepping up onto the drawer edge. I like that it is adjustable. I have not done that yet, but I have opened it and folded it several times. It is well-made, sturdy, the carrying handle is very nice, it fits in a small space when folded. As described and highly recommended.

I use this stool for getting up into my bed. I used plastic stools previously. This metal stool is safer, sturdier and actually looks better. The height is also an important factor, it is set at a height that it doesn't wobble when I use it.

NO cotter pins included to keep leg pins in. Will have to do your own. Otherwise this is AWESOME. Love the adjustable height. Use it for our camper door step. Very stable. Love the rubber on top to avoid slipping. Lightweight with carrying handle.

I had a hard time deciding which step would work best for our needs, my wife is 5'2" and I am 6' 1" so there are shelves she can't reach without me. I love the adjustability (she does) and she can't believe it took us so long to get this for her.I was concerned about the adjustable begin sturdy, but there is no worry about stability with this step. And the fact that the height adjusts makes it perfect for any task. My wife had a recent injury to her legs and this was very helpful for her to get out of bed. the bed is a little higher than most and it was difficult to get out of bed with her leg. Another gal at her work ended up with the same injury so she took the step to work so her coworker to try it out.

Very sturdy and can be adjusted to be shorter than most of the plastic ones. This was very important for my wife as she did not have the strength to get up with the taller ones. Much safer and easier now.
