Much cheaper in price than OEM. This part was for my z4 2005 BMW. I could not tell the difference between the old part I pulled off car and the new part, same manufacturer stamped on the part. The new part fixed my yellow warning light that would stay on after the car was turned off . It seems to be working perfectly . In my case . Getting to the part itself was a challenge even with the car on ramps. The z4 sits so low and it is hard to remove the aluminum shield that protects the oil pan. I’m would say this replacement took me 2-3 hours to do. If u have access to a lift I think this could be done in 30-45 minutes . I think this sensor fails between 75,000-100,000 miles. I have replaced the same part on the three series BMW . The part arrived next day as part of prime! I would recommend this part

Had to replace oil pan on my e39 M5 and this was prefect fit and OE made in Germany. About $150 less the bmw branded part.

Install super easy, suggest doing it next time you do an oil change it was only the connector and 2 bolts. It didn’t resolve the reason why I wanted to get a new one because my car has an oil light that illuminates for a small period of time and forums said replacing this sensor would resolve it, but hey I atleast replaced it.

I compared this and the original and I can’t tell any difference. I was getting the low oil light a few seconds after start up an it would go off after about 15 seconds. Now I no longer get the light…problem fixed. Super easy fix. It didn’t come with the three bolts so be careful when removing. You must change out when you do an oil change or your oil will leak out when you remove the sensor.2000 BMW 323 wagon

internal guide layout (plastic) are different to my plug and it would not fit.had to munt the plug to get it on.
