Pay attention to the pin output. Most relays plugs you will need have the 87 and 30 pin across from eachother (including the 85 and 86). However this relay is different in that the 87 and 30 pin are NEXT to eachother. Only way to get this to work is to pull the wires from your relay plug and move them around to work with THIS relay. Not worth the hassle, so double check your plug...maybe this one will work with yours if it is wired this way. I wasnt able to use it and nor will I deviate from the standard plug pin setup.

Where to start...Well, let's start with the fact that these are NOT ISO RELAYS!!! ISO relays have a specific pin-out and functional specification, these do not meet that specification. The pin-out is different, so unless you can re-wire your relay socket (easy if this is a mod with a pigtail, not so easy if it's in a relay box) these will not function at all in a standard ISO socket. Second, there is only a single pin output, ISO relays have a dual pin and the relay is normally closed to one output contact and switches to the other when you energize the relay.Ok, that behind us, I received the 3 relays I ordered and guess what, not one functioned. I had to triple check everything since 3 in a row is considered nigh impossible. Tested everything and confirmed the pin-out, and all 3 relays were bad! Not a happy camper, I thought Hella would be better than the no-name relays I've been using from the local parts store, I guess not.

A good relay at a decent price. I use it in my solar set up to activate/deactivate devices based on the solar array receiving light or not. At 24v, it fits the bill perfectly and once the sun goes down, the relay disconnects...perfect!

I got this bad boy in pristine timing, but I wired it all together and it didn't function like it should. I did a few test, checked all my wires, finally came to the conclusion that it was the relay that wasn't working not my other wiring's. So I pulled it apart, and sure enough the magnet inside was too far apart. So I managed to fix it, and now it works like it should...but I don't think a product should come broken. So just so you know you might have to pull this bad boy a part to make it work, if you think that's above your head, probably shouldn't get this...or give me a call...enjoy.
