After a roommate broke my favorite plastic serving spoon, I went on a hunt for a more eco friendly AND long lasting equivalent. I like that this product is made of steel and silicone, both of which have long product lives. The materials keep the spoon lightweight while still having a sturdy feel. The handle is long enough to stir and serve with, and the spoon is large and wide enough to easily portion food. The silicone also gives the spoon a slight grip so food doesn't slide right off.

I just had my second very innovative and not inexpensive spatula spoon combination break. So I was very pleased to find this JA Henckels Spoon to use with my ceramic non scratch cookware. Actually, this is also JA Henckels and I already know its quality. The spoon as I expected is both beautiful and definitely made to last.

At start I doesn't like this.... but after few month of use I don't believe this is the best Silicone Spoon I have useNow I always use this Spoon to cook... I have a lot of other spoon in my kitchen but not one like this.the silicone part of the spoon don't go loose after heat or melt around the edge for few months. this Silicone spoon still look like new..
