They run small. I'm 6' 180 lbs. I bought the XL 1st and it was too snug. Exchanged for the XXL. Also felt it was snug but it loosened up significantly in the water once I started diving with it. It is a great vest - perfect for 80+ degree water. Well made. Great lightweight diving option vs. shorty wetsuit for warm waters.

I ordered this vest because I swim in the Puget Sound. I wear a 3/2 wetsuit which will not be warm enough by itself for winter swimming. I wanted a sleeveless vest to zip over my wetsuit to give me extra warmth over my core. I wear a men's wetsuit because it fit me better than a woman's.The vest appeared to be of good quality. I read the reviews of sizing. I ordered a 2X. It was extremely tight around the hips, waist and chest and floppy huge in the shoulders and arm holes.Needless to say, I will be returning it and will continue my search.

It was well made but didn't fit at all. I didn't understand sizing maybe.

Get a larger size! My husband wears a medium shirt and is well-muscled but needed an XL to fit him comfortably. He loves the extra flotation he gets from it as well.

I have 4 Henderson Wetsuits. This vest definitely runs 2-3 sizes small. I have a full, 3mm wetsuit and a 3mm shorty that are both XXL and fit perfect. I have a large shorty (that I used to fit into : / that is a large). I purchased a XXL vest and it fits like the large Henderson shorty. REEALLLY tight. I’m 5’9†@ 225 with wide shoulders.
