I drove my car with the new gears in it. Went a mile down the road and it recorded my trip as .6 miles. Took my truck down to the same spot and it was 1 mile exactly. I must have gotten a bad set.

Mustang stopped adding mileage to odometer and trip. Removed gauge cluster and carefully took apart to find plastic gears had fallen apart. Replaced with these lightly greased. Problem solved
