The HCS-418 in-ceiling speaker is good for bathroom use or in a living room, dining room, bedroom. It uses a blue polypropylene woofer and fluid-cooled soft- dome swivel tweeter in a coaxial design. The tweeter swivels so it can be aimed for most effective high frequency output.

Used these speakers under the covered patio and am overall satisfied. I wish I would have gotten larger speakers, but that’s on me. Sound quality for their size is very respectable. Would buy again if needed some.

Unbelievably low price. Sound quality average but I really don’t need high quality speakers on my porch. I plan to paint the magnetic grills. I priced similar speakers as much as $249 each.

I bought two packs of these to add to a stereo that had two other speakers. It was easy to do and sounds great. I love the magnetic covers.

When I first tested them, these speakers sounded tinny but once fitted they sound great. The sound is very crisp and the speakers look great.Tip for fitting: wind the screws in and back out to tap a thread before attempting to do it above your head. You simply can't put them straight up without taking this step!
