Easy to set password, solid security. Lock has some heft to it, feels like it is not flimsy or easy to breach. Gave good peace of mind while traveling--especially since our luggage was separated from us and made it to our destination a day before us.

After an initial confusion as to the marketing material included but no setup instructions - on a hunch I went to the seller website and followed the instructions and it was smooth sailing. Sturdy, reliable and highly recommended for hotel stays and some privacy.

These suitcase locks are very well made. Solid, and for their size, very heavy. There are four combination wheels instead of the usual three. I have a lot of confidence these locks will hold. Most suitcase locks are flimsy but these are not. Additionally, the company is a small family owned business located in the Midwest US. I am preparing for a long trip and have purchase their microfiber towel, neck wallet and the locks. The packaging is thoughtfully assembled. The locks come in a little canvas bag. The instructions to set your own combination are very clearly explained, with photographs. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and will gladly purchase products made by the HERO Travel Supply Company.

I purchased two of these locks. One had a problem with opening after the combination was set. I called and text them with no response. Would not recommend them poor customer service.

I used these luggage locks for a trip to Africa, and they were great! It's so easy to set or change the numerical pass code, they slide in easily to the luggage zippers, and they look really good too. Another plus is that, since my luggage is black, the lock helped me distinguish my bag from the many others that came off the plane!

The durability of this item is good but it got off its setting and I couldn’t open the lock when I got home. I called customer service twice and e-mailed them for help but have yet to get a response. After looking up other ways to open the lock on-line, I was able to get it open after two days of trying. I was very close to hack sawing it off.
