I purchased these mittens to replace my daughter's Burton ski mittens. There is no comparison as to how well these keep her hands warm and toasty out on the slopes. They fit well, are well made/comfortable, and slip on and offer her hands easily. I can't speak to them being waterproof, but if they're like my adult Hestra's, I think she'll be fine.The only thing to consider when buying these gloves is that you will get more wearability if you take care of them. They're leather, so make sure to follow Hestra's care instructions and you'll get many years of use out of them :)

My kids have been wearing these mittens since they were each 2-years-old (now 11 & 13) and never complain about cold hands. We ski the east!

My almost 5 year old wore these on a ski trip and was warm the entire time! They fit perfectly and stayed on well!

We've tried so many different gloves but all of them left my kids fingers cold on a ski team day. These are hands down worth the money and the best kids gloves out there.

expected these to keep an's11 year old's hands warm...not so much better than previous Burton"s....quality is there but expensive for a kid that will outgrow them quickly...

Love these mittens. I purchased for my 3 year old to go onnhis first skiing trip in Stowe, VT. We are also headed to Vail, CO. We have had these for years for my 7 year old and needed another pair. They are pricey but last for years and keep hands warm all day which is the most important thing to me. Don’t need kids complaining about extremities before the day even begins. LOVE!

These are pretty much the only reason why my kid can ski. I may never get other types of ski gloves.

Die Handschuhe hab ich für meinem Enkel gekauft. An und für sich ein Top Produkt (ich trage selber die gleichen seit Jahren und bin so zufrieden) … leider sind die Halterungsbänder nach einer Woche eingerissen. Bei diesem Preis deshalb zurück geschickt - vielleicht war genau dieses Paar schlecht verarbeitet. Ich bestelle sie trotzdem noch einmal
