Just received this today. In just 10 minutes I was able to extend the cords on my blinds. I seared the end first (just be very careful as the melt is very hot). I added it without a problem and it looks great and so much easier to pull shades down. New original blinds now come with very short cords. (probably a safety factor). However, very annoying for someone on the short side to pull because the blinds are over my kitchen sink (and countertop is tall.)

I had to replace a frayed window blind cord. After measuring the diameter of the existing, I ordered this spool and had a lot left over. The cord seems to be good quality and hopefully will last a while. There are a few good instruction videos on you tube.

The string was thicker than the original string I was adding to. Pulls are solid white wood and worked great to extend the pull strings that were not long enough. I recommend them.

Although this does not come with any instructions, the cord seems to be very sturdy. I re-threaded 3 blinds and open them up every day and for the past 2 weeks they seem to be holding up. There is plenty of cord left for me to use on other windows as those cords rub away. I would highly recommend this product if you just have a broken cord and dont want to pay $200+ for new blinds.

I set about to replace the pull cords on my kid's bathroom blinds, after they snapped from use over time. After watching a few YouTube videos and learning what type of cord to NOT get (cotton is too slippery), I guessed the diameter and got this one. Thankfully I was right and this stuff worked like a charm. I melted the ends with a bbq lighter and rolled it btwn my fingers to stop it from fraying and dealing the ends before tying knots. The raising/lowering action is super smooth and I don't have any issues with slip-through. I now have a good amt to replace the cords on our other blinds, and can be used for other crafts and miscellaneous tasks around the house.

This product works great if you have broken but existing lift string. You can fuse your new end with old end with a lighter and gently pull through. I am extremely happy. My blinds are wood and heavy. So far working great for months now with daily opening and pulling up so my dog can see out. Will buy again .

J'ai acheter ce produit pour faire de store bateau. Ce qu'il faudrait indiquer dans les informations du produit c'est qu'il y a 50m de ficelle sur la bobine. J'en avais acheté 2 pour pas en manquer, mais si j'avais su, 1 bobine aurait été largement.

Funciona perfectamente. Lleva un alma de nylon y una camisa trenzada, no tan tupida como los originales, pero no los distingues si están por separado. Ya tengo veneciana nueva.
