It is somewhat bright as described but i mounted it low so its perfect as is at night and has a modern white led type glow to it which adds a modern touch to my 90s truck interior. Day and night visibility are easy to read at a glance, gauge functions immediately and accurately and included fittings make install a breeze.

I needed a boost gauge for my 07 Silverado LBZ and this one filled the bill. Easy install, the fittings were all Legris type push connections, and the gauge is accurate. 10/10 would order again!

The gauge itself looks really nice. Clear lettering, nice lighting at night. But, the gauge didn't function very well for me; (1) the needle shakes very hard/rapidly when it sees boost, making the boost pressure hard to read, and (2) something inside the gauge makes a rather loud rattling noise when it is under boost. I replaced this with a glowshift brand gauge, and it's much better.
