They are great it to put anything coming of the oven, or a hot pan on the table, it does not leave any marks.

We already have all hex-clad cookware so I wanted to add these trivets to the mix. They do the job, BUT I’m giving 4 stars because I do wish they were double the thickness. While on the trivet, the pots still sit too close to the counter for me to be 100% comfortable with them. I’ll occasionally stack 2 of them under the pot or pan.

Works as advertised. Note that 500°F limit. It does a great job keeping heat off the table, and very non-slip.
