I was hoping that using this with my 12v AC 5 watt LED pool light would guide me on dimming the LED down to about 80%. I am in Mexico, and voltage here is commonly up to 135v which my transformer can handle, but it makes my pool LED go to 6 watts and eventually burn out after less than 100 hours. With the readout on dimming to around 4 watts the ammeter reads just 0.06 amps, so I decided to get a 100 milliamp model to get an easier readout. The 1 amp meter does work okay though.
