I bought the broach for a small project I was building. My machinist was away on holiday, and another wanted an astonishing amount of money to broach key ways in four work pieces. The broach worked amazingly well, and saved money. I would say the quality is very good, and can't beat the price. It easily broached steel, iron, and aluminum, and is ready for the next time I need it.

i hesitate to buy chinese tooling i have run into problems with it in the past and these companies are extremely difficult to deal with. but i needed this tool to finish a job. as i had broken my dumont broach some time ago. but when i found this on amazon i figured i didn't have any thing to loose. amazon has the best return policy in the business. well i was pleasantly to find out this thing cuts as well as my dumont and priced well and shipped quick.

I needed this to put a key way in an aluminum pulley that I made, and other than needing to make an additional spacer to get the depth what I needed, this broach worked great.

This broach was purchased to replace a dull one that had been used thousands of times cutting the same keyway, in the same sprocket, using the same arbor press. The second cut it snapped mid cut. Spend the extra $20 and buy a name brand broach, don't waste your money on this one.
