V-groove across the face accommodates round and odd shaped stock. Holes from 1/8 to 5/8" diameter. Block has a 3" diameter and is 1 1/2" tall.

I was contemplating buying the Starrett version of this but thought I'd give this a shot for the price and see how it was. Y'know, it's very nice and I don't see one single thing to complain about. Well machined and bored, holes on the groove are centered. The knurling is outstanding and all of the outer surfaces are great. Anvil thickness is 5/8" or a tad better. The bores aren't chamfered on top and I may to that just to break the edge a little. This may be a softer steel than what Starrett uses (haven't given it any good abuse yet) but I think for anything I do it'll suffice just fine. Great buy especially if you find it on sale here.

I'm no machinist, so it made no sense to tie up serious money in a Starrett or other classic. This seems well crafted and is very handy for the bench.

Ok, it's no Starrett, but for as much as I use it, it works fine. The actual size is smaller than what the picture would lead you to believe, so keep that in mind. The knurling on mine was not diamond, as in the picture, but rather straight knurls. The knurling discrepancy is not a functional problem for me, but since it's not what I expected based on the product image, I'm noting it here so that *you* aren't surprised. All in all, it functions as I'd expect it to and I'm happy with the low cost.

This is a nice machinists block. Not a Starrett but good enough for what im doing.It has a good weight to it and I would have no problem using it in my cheap arbor press.Its definitely worth picking up. The standard cheap arbor press plate are a joke and this block really helps keeps things flatter.

Just what you need when removing pins or the like, V groove is just what you need on occasions. Very helpful.

The product is good as expected. The delivery was bad. I had this delivered to where my wife works so it won't be stolen off of our front porch. This was left outside all night long, and was not handed to a "resident" as stated in the delivery notes. Really disappointed.

Kinda Small but handy...hardened and nicely knurled. For the price it's hard to beat

Block is nicely finished overall but the holes were not centered even remotely on the Vee Groove.
