Good working 5-C collet holders. As with many other machine products from China, you needs to clean up the grinding dust and most of all, deburr and chamfer the edges with a file. They are very sharp and will cut your fingers! The 90 degree angle surfaces are decently flat and fairly accurate for most work. Collets chuck just fine and securely hold your work piece. Very good repeatability. A collet stop also works well with this item. Once set up it is a time saver. Do not hesitate to buy if you have a need for this.

We ordered this C-5 Collet Fixture as a back up to a similar fixture we had. The fixture we had stopped functioning after running 200pc. we then tried this fixture and it would not work at all. This all took place after the the 30 day period when we purchased the C-5 collet fixture.Very, Very Poor Quality.Don't even think about buying this product. a total waste of $100.00The company name is H&H Industrial products. Part number: 3900-1625, JUNK!!!!!!

Bought both this 5C fixture and their other, black-handled, version.Have tried other offerings from HHIP and have never been impressed. This is no different.Razor sharp edges. Tool itself is difficult to use. Tedious to draw collets into body.Way too fussy. Am sticking with my 5C lathe chuck mounted vertically to my mill. 100x faster.Returned.

I suppose for the price, how could you go wrong. if you get the collet nut in just the right spot it will both loosely hold your work and barely eject it.. otherwise you will have to choose between a tight hold and fighting to release the collet. think twice about buying if you do not own a snap ring tool.. when mine came the inner sleeve was frozen solid. I had to disassemble it and give it a pretty serious sanding to get it to move freely.. that being said, i ordered it yesterday, and i am making parts today.

The very first time I used this, the Collett turned inside of the holder because the pin they used was so soft it jammed, and I had to use a hammer to get it out

My biggest problem with this holder is the alignment pin. It is pressed and grounded off in the sleeve. If any adjustment is needed good look. Also collets get stuck in this a lot.
