I love having faster ways to do things. This is much faster than edge finding. I did a couple trial runs with this. Would use it to find center then use the conventional edge find both sides then half for center. Was getting within on average .005 - .007†of true center. Good enough for punching quick holes in tubes and such…

The description of this "finder" is simply 3/8. I'm not sure if that is in meters, miles or continents. It could be used on round stock of 2"- 8" (50mm - 200mm). I needed something for smaller stock.

This will make a nice addition to my tool box as I'm gong to be drilling a bunch of holes in round stock.

Mine arrived slightly bent (which I was able to easily straighten) and it needed some minor clean up with a file but now seems to work fine. Nice addition to my tools at a low price.

It works very well for such an inexpensive tool. It is well made, too, but I wished that the storage bag just a bit larger. No big deal, though. Five star.
