I just wasted my whole day putting hydraulic disk breaks on my go-Kart just for this piece of junk to leak brake fluid all over my brand new paint job. It leaks right at the seal where the plastic fitting goes into the Master Cylinder. It has one screw holding it in place, and it is tight. Don't waste your time. Look for a Master Cylinder that has a better fitting.

Leaked bad. Oring lip had a rough casting. Top had to be sanded .010 down to increase pressure on oring. Back fed line from caliper to master cylinder with syringe. Works fine now after 2 hours of work. Also, get copper sealing washers.

I had to cut approx 1.25-1.5 inches of thread off the end of the bolt to fit a kt196 but the metal was so soft it was easy! The gold nearly perfectly matches the gold brake caliper I also installed. Was hard to bleed but I also had an inexperienced 14 year old at the pedal. It turns out he wasn't pushing the pedal hard enough when he said he was to the floor during the bleeding. I'm going to take the advice of another customers comment and use a one person self bleeder from harbor freight and I'm sure it will work fine.

All I needed was the reservoir , hose and adapter piece that connects to master cylinder. Install was easy and straight forward . However, after a couple weeks I noticed what appeared to be condensation on the hose. From a little research, it’s suggested to be an alcohol from the brake fluid migrating through the hose. All sources are saying it’s very bad. Not sure if I got a bad hose or it’s the overall quality. I requested a replacement and should be receiving in the next day or two. Will update review once replaced and verified.

Quality part for cheap. Had to cut the plunger bolt as it was about an inch too long for grom clone. Bled it a bunch before it felt solid. Only had it for a day so I’ll update if something goes wrong.

Bought this master cylinder and can not get it to pump up enough to bleed brakes. Return window closed I guess I am stuck with it
