I like these, they are soft, it was a bright white which I loved. It’s not thick more thin. But It definitely worked with the napkin rings I brought.

I keep these in my car to put on my lap when I eat. Thick, synthetic material. I wouldn't use them on the dinner table. They aren't comfortable or absorbent to wipe your mouth with. But as a clothing protector they work great.
