I like to prepare foods like oatmeal and rice using the pot-in-pot method in my pressure cooker. I had a been using a "stainless steel" pot designed for this purpose but over time, I noticed a metallic taste creeping into the food. On inspecting the metal pot, I could see that it was beginning to degrade. This ceramic souffle dish is a much better solution. Easy to clean, can be used in a standard oven, attractive.

Good stuff, seems commercial quality, at near commercial price for one at a time purchase. The only way you will get these at a better price is to buy them in lots (12) at a restaurant supply house. ($69 a lot)

I roast whole heads of garlic in a toaster oven with this great dish. (slice off the tops, drizzle with olive oil, cover with foil, and bake for about an hour at 350 deg.) This is a perfect size for two very large portions of pasta, or other casserole. Or, like In our house, its two servings tonight, and two for tomorrow! This dish is very heavy and thick. It can withstand high temperatures, but personally I wouldn't go over 400 deg in the oven. They said it was broiler safe, which is nice to brown a bread crumb topping or cheese for a couple minutes. I have also made a small loaf of bread in it and it works great for that. Take time to treat this dish carefully. It's breakable. My first one arrived in a million pieces. Amazon replaced it immediately. The second one arrived wrapped in 10 layers of bubble wrap. Thanks Amazon! I'm sure you will find lots of uses for this size ramekin dish, as I have. Great purchase!

This dish is the real deal. Excellent quality, durable, flawless performance, perfect design. Though this could be used for many things, I use it only for souffles and it is outstanding. The souffles cooked in this dish rise higher and stay risen longer because of the perfect design and quality ceramics. Great value, attractive style. 5 STARS

Now can cook "fancy" treats -soups-bread puddings ect. To lift out I will place it in my silicon basket that has handles!

It's the perfect size for my Vortex Air Fryer. I don't have a working oven anymore so I rely heavily on my air fryer and instant pot. This works in both. Have only used it once but it seems to be well made and is not lightweight. I think this will work well for me for quite some time.

This souffle dish is a great size for baking foods. It is also the perfect size for my 6 qt Instant Pot for pressure cooking. I am pleased with my purchase, and it will make cooking some foods easier in the Instant Pot. It is also perfect for desserts and casseroles in the oven.

This one is a winner and what a great price. My sister broke my fifteen year old French white clay soufflé dish last summer, and I have been searching for a replacement with the same qualities since then. This one works beautifully, and at a fraction of the price I had paid. . . . okay, so the HIC one is made in China, and mine was made in France. . . . still quite a steal.
