GREAT BOLTS AT A GREAT PRICE . I USED MINE TO PUT SOME LARGE NO HUNTING AND NO TRESSPASSING SIGNS UP . THEY SCREWED VERY EASILY RIGHT INTO THE HARDWOOD TREES USING A BATTERY POWERED IMPACT.

Ordered this Hicarer 100 Pcs 3/8" x 3" Hex Head Lag Screws Bolts with Washers Kit to use when rebuilding my garden boxes this summer. The screws I had in there just dont hold up well to the increased mass of soil and something like these will be perfect to really bind the 2x4s together.I don't do framing construction for a living so am not an authority on the quality of this kind of hardware. I know for decks and stuff like that it needs to be listed and have sheer and torque ratings published and these do not. They just came in a box with no technical specifications. I like that washers are included and the galvanized coating is robust. The threads are not super sharp so the quality of the metal looks not as good as premium lag screws but for connecting 2x10s in a raised garden bed they will be fine.

Everything is sized properly. They quantity and the price are great. The material looks and feels just like what I would normally buy locally, just cheaper.
