It only connects on 2.2.4ghz. Online reviewers 100% have said it will not connect to the app I found out the same problem. This camera is not even worth the box that's put in I will be returning it and never ordering from this seller again

The picture is comparable to an analog signal if at best, battery depletes within an hour, app has large screen adds that try to trick you into clicking on them and app wants too much personal information. However, it does function and I'm going to put in my shed to keep an eye on my mower (lol). I do not recommend this product.

The app that you need to use to link the camera requires too many permissions on your cell phone and you don't feel safe. Apart from the fact that it is not easy to install and the image quality is not very good, I really cannot recommend it. I was expecting something more professional and reliable.
