Item just as pictured. Cute little guy to hide a key, or just sit around looking cute.Key spot is under hat.I'll keep him on my covered porch, not sure how long he would last out in the rain/intense sun, or if his colors would fade.Cute and fun though

I absolutely love this Gnome Key Hider Statue! It’s everything the description promises and more—adorable, charming, cute, and practical as both a garden decoration and a key holder. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice!The gnome’s hat serves as the lid, pulled down over his eyes. You simply lift the lid to tuck your key inside his belly. There are three notches on the underside of the hat that align with grooves to keep the hat securely in place. I initially thought the fit was tight, but it actually isn’t. When I first tried to remove the hat, it slipped out of my hands and fell on concrete, but to my relief, it didn’t crack or break. This shows that the resin material is solid and durable.Once the little gnome is "planted" in his spot, the hat stays in place, and it’s easy to lift the hat to access my key without having to pick up the entire statue. This is a fantastic gift idea, and I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. It’s practical, durable, and super cute!

This is an adorable little gnome. The gnome is light weight. The gnome is 7 inches tall. The gnome’s hat can be removed to hide a key. I do not think I will use it to hide a key because it seems like the hat could become dislodged easily. The gnome is colorful and vibrant. The gnome is a great addition to my garden.

The Niwhydi Hide-a-Key Gnome is adorable and surprisingly well-made. Its nice weight keeps it from blowing over in the wind, and the paint job and details are vibrant and sharp. I love the secret key compartment under the hat—a clever design feature. It's a great addition to my garden and works perfectly. While a bit pricey, the quality justifies the cost. This Gnome statue is incredibly well made of solid thick plastic. It has incredible details and texture and the colors are vibrant. It is advertised as a key holder, and yes, it'll hold a key in its compartment, but I'm not sure if it's the best place to hide a key. An animal can easily knock this over exposing your hidden key. At a minimum, hide the key with a cover taped over the bottom so it's not so obvious. I ended up keeping this in the garden where it adds some gnome charm. I really like this piece and would buy other variations if they exist.

This gnome is adorable on his own merits but he has the added function of being a hide a key. Unlike lots of other similar items, this hide a key has a space large enough to hide not just a key but other small items you might need to leave for a friend or neighbor. I really like his hat in particular. The texture is unique and fun. A true winner.

Well made and securely packaged. A good addition for any garden in my opinion, whether someone plans to use it as a key hider or not, or even whether they are a gnome collector (like my boss) or not. They thought it was great and want one now!The hat covering comes off revealing ample space for keys and more. I imagine that the hat, which is only held into place by three small round pegs and gravity, could potentially be dislodged by a curious animal, etc., or if the gnome were knocked on its side. This is something I would take into account if I were planning to hide a key inside.
