I order a zillion things from Amazon, and seldom write reviews, but, since this shark pouch is so exceptional, I had to let you know. First, this guy is made from substantial, thick, smooth real leather. For the reasonable price, I find that impressive. The workmanship is impressive as well -- with even stitching, perfectly matched leather pieces forming a "v" for the the shark's body, fins lined up on either side, an upright, forked tail fin (you might have to reshape it upward when you first get it) and that awesome characteristic dorsal fin, which might be a little flattened when you first take him out of the envelope, but stands up and stays up after you put it that way. I chose the blue color, which looks like a deep, smoky charcoal-ish gray, with hints of blue -- a great shark color! The antique brass color mouth zipper gives this shark so much personality (looks like teeth!) and functions smoothly. I think this shark pouch would be great for a guy or a girl. (I can picture guys putting him on their dresser, with the mouth unzipped for holding change.) I love that I received a card with this shark from "The Stockyard Exchange" which says that the products empower artisan communities throughout Mexico and Central America, and also says more specifically, that my shark was made by Ana in Guatelmala. So thank you, Ana! Anyway, if you like leather and sharks, and need a unique zippered pouch, I highly recommend this friendly shark!

For a pencilcase, don't expect to put more than the strict minimum necessary in it, or you're gonna have to force on the seams. Its fine by me. Zipper is nice and sturdy ; I added some wax on it to make it run smooth. Sewing work is impressive in detail and quality. Leather is thick and smells good. Note that on this specific colour, the leather is (I think) Nubuck ; it has a soft velvety texture and shows no reflection. It also means that this leather will be more fragile and susceptible to stains. Looks cute and unique : I love it !

I plan to use this zipper bag every day at school to hold my pencils, pens, highlighters, etc. it's super well made. All of the items sold by Hide and Drink are impressive looking, I ordered the waxed canvas pocket organizer as well.

Nice little pouch for anything coke can size or smaller. Clever design with the zipper. Good quality leather. I got the blue one as a gift. She loves it! I did find one loose stich in the end, minus one star unfortunately.

This product is handmade and extremely well put together. Genuine leather. The zipper is high quality as well as the stitching which feels really sturdy. It's aesthetically eye pleasing for having simple uses like pencil case for example. I'm planning on definitely ordering more for family.

Just an absolutely beautiful product! It won’t hold many pens or pencils; but it is good enough for a small collection. Beautiful quality leather, my son loved it!

Received it this morning, was schedualed to arrive by tommorrow so thats nice!The pouch is practically the spitting image of the photo shown by the seller. Product is hand-made and made with Love most definatly. Although i find this accessory a little pricey its clearly worth evey penny!Overall satisfied with my product.

Es mas pequeño de lo que imaginaba. Soporta algunos lápices y bolÃgrafos, pero comienza a sufrir de espacio si le pones marcadores para pizarrón blanco. Del borrador, ya ni hablemos.Tampoco pude poner un sacapuntas dentro, ya que uso uno cilÃndrico que recoge la basura. Pero uno pequeño podrÃa entrar sin problema.
