Handy. Installed on my timbales easily. Some reviews said that the mounting bracket didn't fit some stands tubing but it fit on a part of my timbales hardware perfectly and at a super convenient location. Large enough to hold several sets of sticks an my clave.

Not made for a kids/Junior drum set because the clamp is to big but nothing a couple of small pieces of cardboard took care of the extra space and it holds solid and works great.

The mounting hardware is ordinary hardware store carriage bolts and wingnuts. The part that wraps around the stand is pre-bent to a weird size. Smaller than 7/8in but larger than 3/4in but it grips the larger stand well if you tighten the wingnuts real good. The pocket is very durable; I keep 6 sticks, a pair of claves, and my cell phone (on mute of course) in it during performances. The steel arm and hoop may seem a little thin, but it takes a beating. I leave it attached to its stand and have, after a gig, thrown it in a pile of stands with others on top of it. No damage yet.Would I buy it again? Yes (if I ever break this one).Would I recommend? Yes

The holder attaches to my Gibraltar hi-hat stand but the opening is too big to actually hold tightly. It swings a little but is kept in by my cymbal stand directly behind it. Holds sticks and easy access if you break/drop one in lid-song, but would have liked a more secure fit.
