Love this product so much I ordered more! With over and under easy to adjust straps to hold hat in place on your pets head making it a challenge for your pet to shake it off! Hat is larger that it appears. I ordered size small for my 25 pound dog. Hat was sized bigger than posted leaving little visibility. Hat looks adorable with brim flipped up. Easy to clean or wash after outdoor use.

This hat is just horrible. It had better reviews than competitors so I had high hopes, but I'm returning this thing. It is very much designed for dogs with high set ears. My golden retriever and labradoodle mix has side set ears and while the ear holes were big enough for the base of her ears, it didn't fit right and crumpled her ears up and she was wiggling and trying to get the hat off as hard as she could. She's a service dog and wears noise reduction headphones just fine, so the problem is not her refusing headgear in general. the problem is that this hat was so extremely uncomfortable. the bill of the hat covered her eyes like a blindfold. the curve of it is not contoured to a dog's head, but more so to a human toddler's head. The design doesn't accommodate the fact that dogs have necks and their ears are not horizontally positioned. I think the best possible fit for this awful hat would be for a dog with a long neck and high set small ears. If that's not your dog, don't get this. Don't torture your dog with a hat that can damage their ear structure. As someone with 23 years experience sewing, this is just poorly constructed. I wanted to avoid making one myself because the small garment will be difficult on my arthritic hands, but it seems that if I want it done right I have to do it myself.

size L is for English bulldog, or Teckel. seller should inform with breed instead of sizes. Our pitbull are middle size but size L is like a toy hat

We bought this for our Great Dane who sun burns really easy and thought this would be an easy solution. The first issue we had is it was far to small for his head our fault for not paying better attention on the size of the hat so we tried to use it in our pit lab and struggled to get the hat to stay in place it seemed to always fall over her eyes or would be way off the back of her head. The ear holes didn’t hold the hat in place very well and the strap seemed to side down really easy as well. If your dog doesn’t have an issue with anything in his/her head this might work for you but it didn’t work for us.

We have a 5 lb toy poodle with a very small head. My husband once joked her head is the size of a nectarine, but that is probably accurate - lol! We live in Florida, and I have seen her squinting in the bright sun. I knew she would not tolerate doggy "goggle style" sunglasses, so I ordered a few different hats to provide shade for her eyes. This hat was the winner out of all of the ones I tried. It fits her small head well, the strap keeps the hat on tight, and the brim is actually wide enough and deep enough to provide sun protection. The trick is to keep the strap tight under the jaw bone. We are really pleased with this hat, and I can tell she is more comfortable in the sun.

One star. DOES NOT FIT DOG HEAD. NOT DESIGNED TO DOG'S HEAD. Cover's dogs eyes! He cannot see - does not want to wear it. Need back of hat "cut out" in half circle and whole hat tilted back so he can see. Designer, try harder. Bad design. Need large half circle cut out of bottom back of hat, so hat can go up in front. need velcro chin strap.
