So far so good. Efficient and simple design provides a "good enough" shower, and I'm happy with the water and energy savings it provides. The spray has great pressure thanks to the wide cone shape of water that it sprays out instead of filtering water through multiple smaller holes. It actually feels like higher pressure than my 2.5 GPM head as a result. However, I wouldn't describe the shower experience as relaxing, if that's what you're going for, but of course that's personal preference. The cone shape doesn't have as much simultaneous coverage as my 2.5 head provides, so it doesn't have a very massage-like feel in my experience. And the noise is definitely louder than my 2.5 head, not to an annoying degree, but it is a noticeable and can wear on you a little if you stay in the shower too long. But hey, if you're buying this to save water and energy, you probably aren't taking super long showers anyway. One more thing: The first product that was shipped to me was NOT good. It was excessively loud and didn't have good pressure, even after trying to reinstall multiple times. I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful. They sent out a new version for me to test right away, which is the one I'm basing this review on. Apparently, the model I got was part of a small batch of defective units. The seller clearly stands by their product and will work with you to make sure you're satisfied. Hearing all the glowing customer service reviews is what ultimately lead me to this purchase in the first place. I hope they keep it up.All in all, this shower head does the job and I would highly recommend it to those looking for low flow. Just be aware that it's louder and not as gentle compared to some other shower heads.

These are great shower heads, as many others have noted. But I want to especially emphasize that the 1.25 gpm version gives a really great shower, so there is no reason to get the higher-flow versions.I was definitely skeptical at first, but I decided to take a chance on the 1.25 — worst case, I would just return it. I warned my wife in advance and installed it in the Master bath. For me, it feels like much more flow than the rating, with good-sized drops that hit you with a satisfying force. In fact, I find myself turning down the flow a little bit to soften the spray intensity. Then I waited for my wife's verdict. She loves it!The next big step was installing one in the kids' bathroom. We have two teenagers who like their long hot showers. Again, I warned them in advance, replaced their older 2.0 gpm showerhead, and waited for the reaction. My son liked it immediately, and my daughter's only reaction was that the water hit her with too much force. I suggested that she turn down the flow until the force was comfortable, and now she is very happy. We are using less water, and less energy to heat the water, while getting great showers! A win all around.

Worth every penny! I feel like It's a bit pricey for what it is but it is well made and does its job. This shower head feels like it's twice the amount of water that it should be without the painful spray that feels like needles. My wife has long this hair and has always hated "low flow" shower heads because they typically have such crappy streams of water that never seem to do a good job of getting all the soap out. My complaint was that most of them spread out the streams so far apart and were so tiny that the water would drop 20~30 degrees by the time it got to your body so you would have to turn it much hotter than you should to get it warm enough. So we searched, and searched. Then I found these babies! I had to convince my wife to drop $40 bucks per bathroom but in the end we couldn't be happier. And in case your wondering I wanted slightly more flow in the master bed for my wife so I got the 1.8 and the other two bathrooms got the 1.5. I honestly can't tell the difference. They are both amazing.Alot of people said that this shower head is loud. It's slightly louder than most but I feel like people will find anything to complain about. It's really not that bad!Bottom line: this is an amazing shower head that is truly worth its weight in gold for those who are looking to save on water and still get a good shower.

I REALLY wanted to give this 5 stars- maybe it even deserves that, and I'm being unfair. On the good side, it's SO good for a low flow shower head, that I measured the output because I COULD NOT believe it was only 1.25 gpm. Great water pressure, great coverage, easy to install, just a home run.On the not so good side, my unit wasn't quite 1.25 gpm. My measurements were not wildly scientific- I had my wife start a stopwatch while I stood there collecting water into a large measuring device. When I got to 4 cups we stopped the stopwatch and multiplied the time to check GPM. I found that it was spitting out somewhere between 1.3 and 1.4 gpm. For a unit marketed as 1.25, and especially when they sell another shower head marketed as 1.5, I found that inaccuracy a bit disappointing, and that is the sole reason for me removing a star.I want to be clear, this is a fantastic shower head, and if I could give it 4.8 stars, I would. But I don't want to give it a full five stars when it doesn't seem to quite deliver on the claim made. I still think if you want a shower head that is less than 1.5gpm, this is a terrific choice, and you likely will not be disappointed by the showering experience, so long as you go in knowing it isn't QUITE 1.25 gpm (at least in my experience).

Ordered the 1.25 gpm for a basement shower. Well built, easy to install ( Including the scratchless screw tool is nice), and I enjoy the pressure level, given that it’s a water saving shower head.

Very good flow and pressure given it's using significantly less water than my last head. If anything, it feels like slightly more pressure than my previous, which was a Speakman knockoff. Simple design. No complaints. I'm in London and my shower runs from mains water with a combi boiler rather than a tank, so a relatively low pressure area.

This shower head is excellent. I have just gone from 3 gallons (13.6 litres) per minute to 1.5 gallons (6.8 litres) per minute. I measured this accurately. The spray pattern is good and so is the water pressure. Although we do have good mains pressure anyway. Another very important things to say is that despite this being an American product there is no problem with the US thread fitting onto the British thread. This was my concern. There is absolutley no leak what so ever. Very pleased to have halved my shower water usage typically from 6 gallons (27 litres) over two minutes, now down to 3 gallons (13.6 litres). Excellent product and well made. Thanks
