Great product, i used this on a WEN 12" drill press, I removed the cast iron pulleys, and used a set of aluminum pulleys from a HF drill press, then made the custom belt , worked perfectly, a dramatic increase in performance, very easy to weld together with soldering iron .
Beautiful, fun project

This works really great to repair an old treadle (foot powered) sewing machine, or to build your own hand crank Van Der Graph Generator. I purchased several sizes for a few different projects, and they all work great. However I may need to build a fixture to help hold the belt in position when cooling to get the best results. You need to hold the larger sizes quit a while to insure they cool properly before letting them go.

I tried both a heat gun and a flame and was not able to join the belt. I ended up using shrink wrap.

I needed a new drive belt for my single row garden seed planter and this belting was just what I needed. The original belt had hardened and broke and I couldn't find a new belt or find the size of the belt required. All I knew is that it was a 3/16 round belt. It's going to take some practice/patience to learn to weld the joint, but it will work.

This belting is easy to work with. Joining ends works well, is strong and all it takes is to melt the ends a bit, hold them together till they cool slightly, and if you are fussy trim the joint a bit.

Just what my Jeweler's lathe needed. Works just fine like both were made for each other.

Great product for replacing the elastic band for canopy tarps. Are not effected by sun light. A lot stiffer than the elastic cord, tying a knot doesn't hold to well but a little heat melts the knot so it stays. Being stiffer, was not a problem as they fit tight in the holes and just slide the band to tighten. They did not slip in the last wind storm we has.
