This is the second sleeping pad that I own from Hikenture. The first being a sleeping pad that fits two people, which I absolutely love. I bought this one for when I go camping without my significant other. The other sleeping pad that I own comes with a foot pump rather than a bag pump, but I find that the bag pump is much easier to use for inflation. This sleeping pad also comes with a one-way valve so air does not leak out as you pump air in.I tested out the sleeping pad for a few days in my living room to see if the air holds. I found very minimal air being released from the sleeping pad over the days. The sleeping pad is comfortable. I appreciate it the fact that it is thicker and seems very durable. It does not appear that it would be easily punctured by rocks. The head of the sleeping pad is slightly elevated so a pillow is not exactly necessary but then again everybody sleeps a little bit differently.Lastly, sleeping pad is very portable which I love. It is easily deflatable and lightweight. Overall, I am very satisfied. I will update this review is the sleeping pad does not last long or if I encounter any problems.

I used this pad on a one-night backpacking trip and it will be with me on all future trips. Low of 45 degrees F, with occasional overnight rain. We slept in an Adirondack shelter. IΓ’β¬β’m willing to devote 2.5 pounds of pack weight for a good nightΓ’β¬β’s sleep. Nothing is like your bed at home, but I know what itΓ’β¬β’s like to be cold and uncomfortable when backpacking. This sleeping pad was comfortable - and IΓ’β¬β’m a side-sleeper. Easy to inflate with the included inflation bag. It took 4-5 bagfuls to fully inflate it. I used a closed-cell folding foam mat under it for extra insulation, just in case. I was comfortable and warm all night. This pad was not noisy. It did not lose air overnight. In the morning it was easy to deflate, to fold, and to repack into the provided bag. Even our trip leaders were admiring it. Thank you Hikenture for a comfortable nightΓ’β¬β’s sleep - the first of many.

When I looked at the inflation instructions I thought they were mad...completely bonkers, but I decided to follow the instructions, hook the "air capture" bag to the inflation port, and then squeeze air into the mattress...almost like a bagpipe and it worked! There's a little flap inside the inflation port on the matress to keep the air from escaping until you want to fold it up, and when the mattress is full it won't let you out more air in. It's extremely firm when fully inflated and deflates quickly and completely. It is not the fastest to inflate, but at the end of a long day hiking, it's much easier than blowing into an air mattress and a lot less cumbersome than a normal pump. Thus is really great!

I bought this Hikenture camping mattress, itΓ’β¬β’s 5Γ’β¬Β thick and I use it to sleep in my SUV, It holds air, and doesnΓ’β¬β’t leak, itΓ’β¬β’s easy to inflate, and itΓ’β¬β’s very comfortable, and the right size, IΓ’β¬β’m 5Γ’β¬β’9Γ’β¬Β, supper fast shipping. And itΓ’β¬β’s very small and light, in the storage bag. Good buy. IΓ’β¬β’ve always said You get what you pay for, if you want a good pad under you, this is it. Thick and strong. Feels like it wonΓ’β¬β’t pop easily.

Easy to inflate, nice mattress but it tends to be slippery.

It's very comfortable and I've not had any issues with losing air during the night. It packs away easy. If you are concerned about weight It's probably to heavy for you, but if your not to concerned about weight It's worth purchasing. I'm very happy with the purchase.

IΓ’β¬β’m a plusΓ’β¬β’s side woman and side sleeper. Product was great for 2 camping each for 2 nights. Took on the 3rd camping and woke up on the ground.Contacted manufacturer and never got any response.I loved the mat. It was very comfortable and I was super impressed but it doesnΓ’β¬β’t last. I canΓ’β¬β’t figure out where is a leak and I donΓ’β¬β’t blank it could be fixed.

I'm a 230 pounds side sleepers and a woman with good hips. That mattress is AMAZING! I can't say anything about durability as I just got it, but it comes with repair patches which is very nice.I bought an other one last year (green on the picture). Similar thickness. In both cases, I keep it around 2/3 filled with air so my hips don't touch the floor but it's comfortable. With my previous mattress, as soon as I was moving I was falling down, like it almost pushed me away! The Hikenture one though... I could swear it's magic! Even when not fully inflated, the shape of the mattress keeps you on it, even if you try to fall off, both sleeping on the back and on the side! So if you want to really sleep and not struggle all night to keep your balance on a mattress, and if you need a tick mattress for side sleepers, I highly recommend it!!!Also, the inflation system is great. I had a foot pump previous, which is ok. But the bag is easier and faster! Just open it so it fills with air by itself, roll the top flap and push on it so the air goes into the mattress. My 6 years old could do it easily without getting tired.I was waiting between this mattress and much more expensive ones. I'm really really happy with my choice!

Nicely made, bonus it comes with the pump bag. I found opening the bag, gently blowing in the bag then closing it was the most effective way to pump the mattress up. Took a couple more pumps than I was hoping for. But comfortable never the less. Much better than any self inflating one.UPDATE:I purchased the new version, big mistake, I'm not sure if the plastic valve has been changed, but went camping for 5 days, perfectly fine. Cleaned and rolled this bad boy up for about 4 months, pull it out of my garage storage to use it. The plastic valve has basically disintegrated. Not very happy about that aspect.Second update:After speaking with the manufacturer, they have offered a free replacement. There was ZERO hassle with hikenture, they have provided amazing customer service for this issue. They asked for pictures of the defect and where the mattress was stored and how it was used. This goes to show the company actually cared about their products!I've recommended this to several friends for upcoming camping and canoe trips, upon that I did inform them about the defect. I also stated their customer service was fantastic, they are proceeding with their orders still.Mattress 10/10Customer service 20/10Comfortable 10/10Easy of use 10/10

I bought for Motorcycle camping. Unit is a perfect balance of small size and enough loft to sleep comfortably, but the ace in the hole is the awesome 'inflation sack" that you connect and use to effortlessly fill the pad. No more hyper-ventilation exhaustion! I have used several times but still too early to report on longevity but the quality seems good, the pad material seems thick enough to withstand normal use.

Have not tried it yet on a camping trip. I only played with it on the house. Looks good.
