Compatibility
This 26 inch mountain bike wheelset is compatible with a 7 speed screw-on freewheel and works with U-Brakes only. The axles are bolt-on type.

The whole wheel-building process is finished by hand, spokes tension, receiving more time and attention to getting more perfectly accurate and round, and getting the spoke tensions within a smaller range.

Ordered this rim because the one on my bike bent when the chain popped off and some spokes broke. This rim was easy to work with, the tire was easy to replace, and this rim is sturdy.

I bought this rim for my son’s bike and it works well for him. I would not say this is a mountain bike rim, probably better for a kids bike or beach cruiser. The rim was slightly warped when I received it, but not too bad. A few minutes with a spoke wrench fixed it. Overall, it’s a ok rim, but probably would not work good for a off-road bike.
