I’m glad this came with so many screw. I had quite a few screws breaking fairly easy when screwing them in. I would have preferred less screws had they been stronger.

I used these to mount warning signs on a metal gate, and 40% of the screws sheared off trying to screw them in. So, pretty soft metal.Arguably, I could have used a larger drill bit, but the one I used allowed for 115% clearance on the shaft. Next time I will be using anti-seize on the screws before insertion.

We have a piece of playground equipment in a local park that we believe has one single kid that just will not leave anything alone. The only ones he doesn't keep taking out are these. So I got these to replace the ones that were normal Philips head.If he gets smarter then I am going to just drill them out and use pop rivets.I know some reviewers said these can break off easily but I am going into a thick plastic so I think I will not have an issue.

The #10 - 1/2" screws are the ones that I needed. Sit strong. The screws are heavy which at least proves that aren't made of aluminium alloy.
