I have two cats, one of which is very prone to UTIs and has a history of peeing on couches and chairs so was prescribed this diet by her vet. This food alone hasn't been enough to stop her from getting UTIs entirely, but it does seem to have significantly reduced the frequency of them and she hasn't peed anywhere outside the litter box since I started giving her it a year and a half ago.My other cat didn't have any of those problems, but is a picky eater and will often choose this dry food over her wet food which I figure means it's got to taste good.The process of getting veterinarian approval was really fast and easy, and the bag itself is convenient (tear-off seal and reclosable with plastic velcro).This diet is fairly expensive, but it keeps my cat healthy and saves my furniture and sanity so I'd say it's worth it.

My vet wrote this prescription while the food is costly it costs more to take my cat to the vet when he gets blocked up from the urinary crystals & can’t pee since using this he hasn’t had any problems so I know it’s working I stopped using it tried to use something cheaper & he was right back at the vet which is more costly than this food so I will deal with the cost instead of a vet bill

This food has kept my young senior away from bladder crystals for two years now (knock on wood). He's usually a picky eater but has no problem with this food. My only issue is the price... like everything else it seems to be going up by the dollars, not the cents.

My kitty needs this in his diet since he has severe urinary issues. No problems since he started eating this. My other cat has a sensitive stomach, but this doesn't seem to bother him too much.

My 7yr old, male cat had a very close call about three months ago with a painful urinary infection and a cystic calculi (stones) blockage in his bladder. He was in terrible distress and, because of this corona-virus pandemic, I had to hand him over to a stranger in the vet's parking lot. He spent 5 days in the hospital while the vet and his team gave him medications for the pain and worked to flush out the crystals causing the blockage. For two weeks after he came home I had the thrill of giving a pissed off feline a variety of medications that he REALLY did not want to take. They also prescribed this Science Diet Cat food which he absolutely refused to eat. He was so sick and refusing to eat so, after a few days of his fast, I gave him his old food, which he would eat, just so he wouldn't get too weak. As he got stronger (and as I slowly healed up from the frequent mauling I received during the wild wrestling matches we engaged in each morning and evening getting his pills and liquids inside of him instead of on the floor or behind the couch.). Soon, I began to slowly mix this new food in with his old food until, after 7 days of so, he began eating this exclusively. He's doing well, his coat is prettier and thicker than it has been in years so that was an unexpected bonus. My advice to those of you who love your kitties enough to go through such a traumatic event, is to be patient, to be gentle and understand how difficult changing over to a new food is for an animal living in captivity and, eventually, it will work out!

My cat is extremely picky. He will generally not eat 95% of food that’s put in front of him and only likes fish flavors. This is the only fish flavored dry food for urinary care I could find & he absolutely loves it, which is a huge relief.

A mi gatita le gusta el sabor.Previene infecciones urinarias, lo cual es común en gatitas.Mi gatita mantiene una dieta balanceada gracias a la alta calidad de nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales.Las croquetitas son lo suficientemente pequeñas y no tan duras para ella. No se sienten grasosas como otras marcas.

The vet recommended it as I have 5 male neutered cats. Was unsure if they’d like it as they’re picky, well they love it! It’s a bit costly however if it prevents any issues it’s cheaper that a vet visit, ordered another bag.
