My lab has a heart problem (since 18 months of age, meds started at 2 years) and sadly, now he is going into kidney failure after 6 ears of being on diuretic (and blood pressure medications). After eating this product since January'22 he is holding his own and even a bit spunkier this hot and humid summer compared to last year. Please note he does not get any other treats or food, he's strictly on Hills G/D. I use his food for his snack or treat. I firmly believe to adhere to ones vet's advice.

One of my dogs has chronic kidney disease, and now some pancreas issues. This one is recommended by our vet that with low protein and fat. My dog loves it, and so far, she had not experienced any stomach issues with switching to this one.

Our Vet determined the Hills G/D was a good choice for my older dogs. I have several Mini Schnauzers that range from 7 to 14 years of age. They seem to like both the dry dog food and especially the wet turkey flavored canned dog food.
