My 8 year old dog beagle mix in a matter of weeks is a different dog . More lively, runs longer easier, fur is softer ,less scooting . Lost some weight and got his waist back.The cost differential is worth it and not so bad now that Beneful is so expensive. Vet recommended because his anal gland is always full. It worked. Plus all the other noticeable positive changes. Plus he loves it and is happy.and excited to eat it. I use Sci Diet regular dry food with this 2 Tb as a topper. He loves it. We’re calling him “mighty dog†now as he runs so much when he used to stop after a minute. This has glucosamine too . I switched my cats to Sci Diet too wet and dryand they re coats are more beautiful than ever and love it Worth the money to me.

Whereas the pate is solid but crumbles up nicely (especially when I microwave for 6 seconds because I keep the can covered with foil in the fridge) this stew is in gravy. This stew is what makes her dance, so we will stick with it. I am grateful to Amazon for making the range of SD Perfect Weight products available for us - they don't have much of the line at our competing local Pet Super markets.This stew is a great mix of big & small chunks of meat, vegetables and thick gravy. This makes my 13-in-Jan 2018 small breed dog dance for dinner, which was not her style before she tried the stew. Twice a day we mix 1/4 cup Science Diet Perfect Weight dry for miniatures (great small little crunchy) with a loaded teaspoon of this stew. She just licks that plate so clean every time, which she didn't really do with the pate she had before.Vet recommended we watch her weight via weekly weighing at home, and adjust the portions as we see fit. It is nice to not worry about calculating the proper amount - as long as she isn't gaining (or losing too much) the regimen is good, and is easy enough to tweak as needed.Before the Perfect Weight wet, she was eating adult regular SD wet like the Salmon for Sensitive skin, and Chicken and Barley. She has lost a lot of weight and was maintaining the weight loss well with the Science Diet Perfect Weight dry - it did the trick when other "diet" lines failed. So when I came across this SD Perfect Weight wet food, I decided to use it to increase the effectiveness of the Perfect Weight dry. This stew, with the Perfect Weight mini crunchy is the perfect combination for my girl.

Since dog food is up to the dog, I made a good choice. I add a little to the portion of Hills Sci.Diet i/d low fat one Vet prescribed to help stretch cost and rations, prescribe&save was the way to go. This one I receive every other month, low fat Chick.Rice I get every month. Works out well. M

We have a beagle and a Bernese mountain dog, who usually eat organic food provided by the Bernese breeder. However, I was looking after Riley the Bernese for a week and ran out of his regular food after two days. I researched the tinned dog food available on many sights, but chose Amazon as I'm a prime member and I knew I could get one day delivery. I chose this product after looking at the list of ingredients and Riley seemed to benefit from the food, so I gave my son what was left of the case that I'd purchased and we will continue to use Hill's dog food wheneverr we run out of the organic food.

This dog food is awesome,It is well worth the money and I will be buying again.So far I bought two types of food,I wasn't sure about this dog food but I see it is well prepared and my dig loves it.Cathy MacNeil

My Chis love this . I put it in a measuring cup for their amount and plop it out on a plate and warm it up in the microwave. Just 9 secs or so . They love it in combo with the Dry mini breed of perfect Weight . I also throw a very small amount of chicken and broth & They both have lost weight.I like the fact that the can is all food and not a lot of juice. You can always add your own choice of broth, water or whatever.

The issue I am. having is it is sent and. delivered a week earlier than the estimated. time that I need it.Yes, its nice to know i will have it when I run out of the last delivery but my credit card. gets charged a week earlier than it should and. this is in my opinion: "NOT CHEAP DOG FOOD"I also pay Amazon $100.00 / year membership fee so it would be nice. that I could. depend on the delivery being closer to the. date of 3 weeks rather than earlier
