These washers generally worked well for my application.Not all washers are uniform. Occasionally, the screw head popped through the washer and the washer became detached.

These finish washers ave a very bright brass finish. We are using them to replace some painted over finish washers on a window restoration project.Locally, these are available for $1.18 for 4. So, if you need a few of them and you need them now 29 cents a piece isn't too bad. For a hundred of them, it adds up to $29.50. These are a great deal at less that ten dollars.Amazon prime get them to you in two days.

I needed to use short screws to fasten thin pieces of soft wood together. Finish washers prevent the screws from going too far into the work and come out the other side.
