Very heavy duty and looks nice. Wish the instructions were a little more clear. Also wish they made these is different sizes.

I purchased this item and received a 12" cane bolt. When I notified Amazon that it was not correct, they sent me another 12" cane bolt. I then contacted Amazon again, and the customer service agent said that he couldn't do anything but place another request to send...another 12" bolt. I've given up trying to rectify the error, which apparently exists in the item's title.

Not cheap - but is a quality piece of hardware that won't rust in a coastal environment. Purchased two (2) cane bolts for a two-sided, architectural grade solid PVC, bi-swing outdoor gate. High quality stainless steel. Brushed finish. Good workmanship no sharp edges.

This is a strong high quality stainless steel rod; ensure proper fastening of brackets! Drill right through the door if applicable and secure screws with nuts. Drill your holes for the rod as deep into the floor or jams as possible.
