Used these to “cap†fiberglass rods I was driving to hold landscape timbers in place. Needed a lot of them, and wasn’t economical to buy “2-packs†locally. Worked great and seem to hold on to fiberglass, though they are best designed for steel rod. If the fiberglass breaks down at the grab point, I can still trim them and recap. Not a problem of the pushnut, though. Metal rods rust in the ground, so I hope this works for years to come.

As a previous reviewer said, it doesn't fit. I ordered this along with a 3/8" inch steel rod from Amazon and there was no way put it on. If you purchase this be sure your axle is just a bit smaller than 3/8"

Received promptly. Using on Weber charcoal grill that has a 10mm shaft to hold wheels. Had to use a rubber mallet, extension drive and a socket to pound them on. Now I can continue abusing my Weber (that has un-American dimensions) as a door stop for my storm door.And cooking chicken once in a while. Wake me up when T-bone steaks are $2.50 or less again.

The fastener was to small for my old pedal car axle. I measured axle with open end 3/8" wrench to get the size, box says 3/8" but is to small.

Product was delivered next day !! Impressive !! Couldn't find this particular size of pushnut fastener in town here so was pleased to find it on Amazon and even more pleased when it arrived next day. Fastener worked perfect for the job it was intended for!! Excellent service and excellent product !
