This is great for someone like myself, who is a jack of all trades and does all his own work. I might mess with AC 10 times in my life. Not so good for someone like my HVAC buddy who tested it for me and broke it in a month. He said it was great while it lasted.

I'm working on some experimental refrigeration equipment, and I needed a good vacuum gauge so I thought I would give this one a try. Excellent choice. This gauge is very well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. This is a solidly built piece of equipment. The display is clear and easy to read. You can adjust the backlight for either ten seconds or continuously on. You can select the display to read in microns, millibars, or mm of mercury. Uses three AAA batteries, which are included. Comes with a nice fabric padded case with a belt loop. There are a couple of downsides to this unit. While the unit is listed as having wireless capability, there is no app link included in the instructions or even on the company website. The QR code included in the instruction sheet only takes you to a page with no information on it. The included instruction sheet contains very little information, and doesn't say how to set alarms etc. Were it not for that, this unit would be a solid five star item. Hopefully the manufacturer will correct these shortcomings. However, it does work well as a basic vacuum gauge. Recommended for standard HVAC use. 4 stars.
