It fit right for the Rancher 450 with the 20" bar. I didn't use the gasket between the carb and the engine as there is a rubber gasket in place already. I did use the gasket between the carb and air filter manifold (probaly not necessary). New air filter was a good fit. The spark plug is correct. The fuel filter is good. I didn't use the primer bulb as it felt stiffer than the oem one. I run the saw at -30 sometimes so the more pliable bulb made more sense. Now I have a spare primer! I did not use the fuel line as mine is still good.This carburetor ran fine the way it came. Just needed a little tuning (it idled fast). I would 100% buy this again from Hipa.

Husqvarna does not make this an easy task, but it is doable with a little figuring. No issues with the carb though.

This review is probably most helpful for the home owner who might use a chain saw once or twice a year. The issue with that is the gas oil mixture will dry out the membrane in these carburetors if they sit on the self for a long time and thus next time you go to run it, it will not start. This package was perfect for my Husqvarna Rancher chainsaw, I watched some you tube videos of how to replace this ahead of time, there are plenty. It came with an air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, new gas primer bulb, new tubing, and the carb along with an extra set of the membranes for the interior of the carb. I am very far away from being a mechanic but consider myself "handy". I am also extremely sick of the break and replace culture we seem to have gotten ourselves into. So I very much appreciate these types of products that are intended to fix and come with enough parts to fix it the second time around as well. I would recommend watching the videos on you tube to prepare yourself for the general idea of the job. I did and after that I replaced the spark plug, carb, fuel filter and primer bulb and got the saw running all within 40 minutes. I don't know what the shelf life is on these but if you are like me and only need the chainsaw a once or twice a year, I would recommend just ordering this so you have it ready when your chainsaw doesn't start.

This kit was used for a Husquavarna 445 Chainsaw,The Carburetor works great, didnt have to adjust it, the air filter fit good, fuel filter is ok, primer works fine. BUT, to the buyer beware... the fuel line in this kit DOES NOT FIT NOWHERE NEAR ON THE GAS TANK,YOU WILL DRAIN OUT THE TANK!! You have to buy the O.E.M fuel line, and Return line to complete this project!!! Also, I wouldnt use the spark plug, just buy a name brand one.I am a Small Engine Mechanic, and the customer wanted a Cheaper fix, so, over all this worked great.Between buying this, and the oem line, the repair cost of parts was under $50

Everything fit fine, but the idle changes constantly as well as the mixture. It will idle if you hold the saw vertical but not sideways. I'm a mechanic and have been working on machines for over 40 years so I know it's not me.

Inlet needle was stuck with a piece of flashing from manufacturer. I expect a new carb to work and NOT need servicing.
