A little snug for the bike rack but it fit great. Very sturdy and it is holding an electric bike rack easily

The opening is twisted and will not fit any type of receiver. Had another one sent out and it was the same problem. Others have mentioned this problem. Was very excited to get the item. Would have been a great way to get the rack off the floor when not in use. Drilled the holes in the wall as directed. Went to place the rack in the mount and it did not work? Fought with it for a while until I removed it off the wall. Checked the mount on the floor with bike rack... The mount was too tight! No way it was ever going to fit and slid in or out. Poor construction of the item. Should have read the reviews before I ordered the item.

THE GOOD:It's very well made. Solid welded steel construction. The flaired opening helps facillitate hitch insertion. Includes hefty lag bolts with hex heads (but no washers) for wall mounting. Also came with plastic anchors for concrete walls.THE NOT SO GOOD:The bracket is vertical, but the receiver seems off (twisted) so the bike rack does not hang flat and parallel to the ground. This may be cosmetic, but it bugs me.All in all, a very good product. Gets a heavy and bulky rack up off the floor and out of the way. Finally, it did not include any instructions. Do you drill small pilot holes to avoid risk of splitting the wall studs or not? The lag bolts look 1/4". In the end, fearing risk of splitting wall studs, I did drill small pilot holes. How much would it cost ($0.01) to include a small instruction sheet?

My bike rack was cluttering up the garage and I was worried about it falling over and hurting one of the kids. This seemed like a good solution to get it safely stored up and out of the way where it couldn’t get knocked over. The build quality is better than I expected for the price. Usually the screws supplied with low cost equipment just need to be thrown away, but these are good quality. The paintwork is good and I had no concerns about it taking the weight of the rack.Installing was straightforward. Find a stud. Use the mount as a template to mark the screw locations. Drill pilot holes. Screw the mount to the stud.I did find using the mount a little less easy than it could have been. The ends are flared to help insertion, but it also makes it a little tricky to line them up as all the sides flare out A pin comes with the kit, but it’s not attached to the mount so you have to leave it close by, insert your accessory and then leave it unsecured while you grab the pin to lock it in place. I find this a little unnerving. I’ll probably figure a way to tie it on or attach a hanger for the pin next to the mount. It would have made things easier and safer is this came as standard though.Despite this it’s still a straight 5 from me. Much better than having stuff on the floor leaning against the wall.

Worked so simply. Only modification was that in order to get the hitch mount in the right place in a tight spot I added a 2x12 screwed to the studs and then put the mount on the 2x12 between the studs. I'm no metal expert, but this mount seems plenty substantial to handle my heavy three bike rack. It hasn't budged since installing it a few months ago. There has been no problem sliding the rack in and out. The screws that came with it worked fine, but I'd never try to use a phillips on them, rather use an impact driver or a socket wrench. It's an excellent out-of-the-way solution instead of having the rack just lean against the wall and wonder when it would slip. And FYI - some have asked if this needs to be mounted on a stud (or similar). My opinion is that it absolutely does. I cannot imagine any kind of wall board being strong enough to manage the stress.

Bought for bike rack, did not fit 2" waste of money and time.

This worked great, easy to install and keeps my rack off the garage floor when not on the car. This one worked great as all the install holes were in one line and I was able to get the 4 lag bolts provided into a stud. This made it very stable. I noticed some racks came with holes in a wide pattern and you would not have been able to get every lag bolt in a stud. They may work okay if you had a nice wide wood base but for a regular drywall, standard wood framed wall this was perfect.

Están mal las medidas, mide 2" exactamente por lo cual no tiene espacio para insertar un rack

Tried using this product with a Yakima Full Swing bike rack and did not fit! 2 inch receiver should be standard. Some reviews say it worked well for them, but in my case it didn't.

My 1Up bike rack (2") won't fit into the receiver, way too tight. This is a very standardized thing so not sure how the product can be so off... Will be returning for a refund.
