Fits a 5 gal bucket nicely and the holes in the center are easy enough to get your fingers in to pull it out to clean the bucket. Just a little added protection to keep the grime away from your wash sponge.

The item is as described by the seller. There are others more expensive and they do the same thing. Basically it helps keeps heavy abrasive debris, from scratching your car when washing them.The dirt initially picked up by the wash cloth/mitt is rinsed off within the bucket and sinking past the grate where it won't get picked up again. I gave it 4 stars since it fits a bit tight on a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket and reach the bottom.

Ordered this for my crawfish wash bucket and it fit perfect. It also keep all the dirt at the bottom of the bucket leaving us clean crawfish to eat.

Yes, technically it fits, but doesn't go down to the bottom so you get a lot less usable volume. I have another one of these (forget where I got it from) which goes to the bottom.
