I got these for a purpose other than a window--sort of. I have this long hallway with no window(s) or even an overhead light. Weird, right? Anyway, it's about 15 feet long and I decided to make a false window using picture/poster frames that look like windows. I then chose a picture print with scenery that I wish was right outside my house, added a portrait light to simulate daylight, picked out a double curtain rod, then chose curtains and sheers to complete the look. These sheers are part of that ensemble.These are really quite nice sheers, especially for the price point--I mean, who can argue with a set of sheers (56 total inches wide by 36 inches long) for under $10. They are the perfect size for my faux window (22" tall x 36" wide) and when paired with my portrait light, it actually appears as though they're filtering outside sunlight. I've had sheers in years past that are made like these, and they do serve a dual purpose: they allow sunlight in while they obscure the view in from the outside. The pattern is also quite nice--it gives them--as my title states--a delicate and lacy appearance. In spite of that, they stand up to machine washing quite well, although I would not recommend tumble dry. They're so lightweight that you can take them directly from the washer and put them on your curtain rod to dry. These are an economical way to update your window treatments.

Yes, one of the reasons I ordered them is the pattern name. But the biggest reasons I ordered them are: 1) they're pink 2) they're floral 3) Flowers remind me of the greatest, smartest, strongest woman I ever met, and who I try to emulate more every day-my mom. Not only would she have loved these curtains, she would have loved how well made they are, how true the color is, how well the color holds during washing, the detailing of the pattern, and how easy they were to put on the rod and hang. And she would also love the privacy they give my bathroom without sacrificing the light I need in there. They are just perfect! Well worth the money. And this size was perfect for my small bathroom window. And yes, I still get light in the window.

Just as expected. A perfect fit and decor improvement. It gives privacy when the curtain are open. The pattern is classy and stylish. The curtain are very light weight. The lace adds a formal and pristine look.

I absolutely love the size of these short Cafe tiers. The color is a color I choose because I have such a small kitchen window, and you can see the street. I have sun blocking purple curtain in the back, and hung these sheer tiers in front. This color make my kitchen feel so much open and larger, its a very small kitchen, and I had dark curtain over the window prior. These give the final look that I was looking for, the material is nicely weaved, not heavy not thin. I could not wait to receive these, due to the fact that this size is so difficult to find nice sheers. Absolutely love them. Be sure to measure the window Length. You can just cut the tag off, that shows through the sheer, not a big deal.
