This shedding blade has been awesome for my horses. I haven’t had the chance to use the brush in the depth of “shedding season,†but it has been fantastic even in the middle of summer. The shedding blade helps me get all the excess hair AND dirt off of my horse to keep her cool. I mention the dirt because often times shedding blades only get the hair, leaving a lot of dust and dirt behind. This shedding blade takes it all- even the tougher patches.The shedding blade is easy and comfortable to hold (another win for shedding season). The brush seems extremely durable- I know it won’t suddenly fall apart on me.My only complaint about the brush is that the blade tends to hold onto the excess hair. The hair doesn’t easily fall out of the blade. You have to either use your fingers or hit the brush against something to get the hair out of the blade.

Our horses are already shed out, but they do like to play in the water and roll on ground. Can get caked with mud and dirt,This set of curry combs can be used year-round for shedding or caked on dirt. The handles are easy to flip depending which side of the curry you need, smooth side or grooved side. The handle is comfortable to hold and these seem pretty sturdy and should last a long time.

They are well made, good quality, and the price is good. Included is 2 curry combs which is a really good deal since they do a good job combing the horses.
