I am hard on hoses. I never put them away, I leave the handle in puddles and in dirt, i don’t really understand how to work the twist thing and break them- it’s a problem. I usually go through 2-3 per year. In fact, I had just bought another handle about a week before I bought this one, planning to use it as a backup. Well, the other handle broke within days and I felt like a genius for having ordered a spare- even though the colors aren’t what I would normally buy. I’ve never used a hose like this, the pull down feature is awesome for one handed hose work. The settings are GREAT, look at that shower spray on my ficus tineke/peanut plant combo pot! It has a killer mist that waters my orchids just right and helps eliminate spider mites by really coating the plants. I can turn it on and leave it running with one hand. This is the best hose handle ever, I asked a friend to help me water one day and he made a comment about how great the handle was as well. Stupid cheap! Why don’t you own this yet?

The soaker option does not work that great, kinda shoots water downward at a weird angle. All the other modes work pretty good though, so for the price it's not bad at all.

Second update! Dropped it from 2 to 1 star. 2 of my 3 nozzles have now rotted apart and failed at less than a year. Unacceptable no matter how well they work.I would not buy again.....Just another Made In China disappointment.>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I will give it two stars because it does work well, if only for a limited time. Although the 3 I bought are all still working, (and they do work well), in less than 4 months they are all horribly corroded to the point I expect a total failure soon. Almost all of the shiny plating has peeled off. To look at them you would estimate age in years not weeks. I am assuming they are constructed of cheap pot metal. (think sacrificial zinc anode on a boat.) They will weld themselves to a metal hose end or adapter in a matter of a few days. I nearly ruined my fancy-shmancy Flexzilla hose trying to get one off that had been left on for a couple of weeks. The Flexzilla comes with heavy aluminum ends that have a hex for a wrench. It BARELY came of without rounding the nut on the hose. It would have simply been permanently attached to lesser hose. Maybe someday I'll find a nozzle that both works well and lasts for somewhere near a reasonable amount of time. I know this ain't it......OLD REVIEW>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>'Have not had it long, so I cannot speak to longevity. It does seem to be well made and mostly metal. It has all the usual patterns, but I especially appreciate the high flow rate in the full position. Many if not most nozzles are so restrictive they are just too slow to do a nice job washing vehicles, especially if you find yourself washing something large like an RV in the sun. The full position is sort of a medium power high flow jet. So far I am really happy. Unless some ugly trait pops up that I'm not yet aware of, I will probably buy a couple more.

Lasts only one year and only if you take extra good care of it. If you let it fall 3 feet to the ground, you'll be lucky if it doesn't shed parts from the volume adjust which is the weak point in the system. I've also had the spray nozzle come off but that is easy to fix. Once the volume adjust comes apart, the nozzle's time is limited even if you can manage to snap it back together. So quality is poor but price is low, so it all depends on your expectations. If you can treat it very gently then it might last two years! As for me, I'm buying a better brand next time.

I was looking for a replacement for a comfortable hose nozzle that I had for maybe 20 years and was very upset when it broke. This was recommended to me by a friend and I am very satisfied in the week that I have been using it. Note that you have to add the adaptor (Male) separately.1. Beautiful and vibrant color.2. Easy regulation of the quantity and pressure of water.3. About 8 different types of spray (can't remember right now).4. It is not heavy to hold for long periods of time and has a comfortable grip.

I purchased two of the nozzles and they were great for about 5 weeks... then within one week of each other, the orange circular piece at the side of the flow control lever popped off on both of them. This piece is important in controlling the flow and on one, I was able to put the piece back in but flow wasn't controlled and water flow wasn't stopped even with the lever pushed to "off". I emailed the manufacturer who was very quick to respond indicating they've been having this problem with this product; they asked for a photo and offered a refund. I sent the photo but never heard back and wasn't refunded. While it had promise, I wouldn't recommend this product at all given what seems to be a known manufacturer's defect and the poor quality.
