Surfboard Fins Colors
Black Surfboard Fins
Black is the go-to color for surfboard fins. These fins will match any surfboard's color scheme, whether the board is plain white, all black, or anything in between.
Aqua Blue Surfboard Fins
Aqua is our unique color of surfboard fins. Choose this color of fins if you want to add a splash of color to your surfboard.
White Surfboard Fins

Installing Your Surfboard Fins
This picture shows a Single Tab fin box. Twin Tab fin plugs will have 2 screws per fin
Unscrew the screw far enough so it will allow you to insert the fin. Do not completely unscrew it from the fin box, or it might be hard to get back in.
Insert the rear end of the fin first. Make sure it goes all the way to the bottom of the fin box. It should "hinge" under the little ledge in the fin box.
(Twin Tab fins do not have to worry about this, just insert them normally).
Then slide the front of the fin down until it is flush in the fin box. It might take a bit of pressure, but don't force it too much.
If the fin doesn't easily fit, you can lightly sand the base until it slides in.
Tighten the screw into the fin. Don't put all of your strength into tightening it, because the fin box
threading can strip with too much pressure.
Pull on the fin to make sure it's secure.

This is a good fin when compared to sets costing $100 more, and is probably the best fin you can buy anywhere near the price it sells for. Size-wise it is between the FCS g3000 and the g5. I bought this to use on a 5'8" Tomo Vader which I snapped and repaired (but lost the futures Stamps front fins in the chaos). I also tested it on a 6'1"x19"x2 3/8" Proctor G4 (hpsb) in chest to head high surf in north San Diego. I'm 35, I've been surfing for 20 yrs, and I weigh 185lbs. I found the Ho Stevie fin to be flexible and responsive. It is thin compared to the other fins in my quiver (Stamps, True Ames Lost, AM1), which reduces drag. Because it is thin and small yet snappy I think it would be an excellent summer fin. It does not generate the same explosive speed when pumping that honeycombed foil fins can, but it is more than adequate for average to good surfers. I'd recommend it for waves in the knee to head high range; in surf larger than that you would want a bigger fin. At $25 per set it is an absolute steal of a deal. These fins are well made and fit my board with no problems at all. They have a moderate amount of flex which is to be expected from a polymer fin. I was looking for a smaller set of fins with some flex to try out in one my of boards. These work well and for the price, the purchase was a no brainer.Shipping was fast too through prime. Very pleased.

I like these fins, they are definitely not high performance, but are a definite improvement over the stock fins that came with my 7'6" fun shape surfboard. What I mean is they hold a little tighter when pushing turns, and seem to have a more acceleration.

This guy does a fantastic job producing these fins, they are amazing! Smooth and glassy finish, nice sharp foil edge and I like the color (greenish like white) I bought two different sets from Steve and they are beautiful. Ordered these for my new 6’2†grovler. They are a no frills fin but I knew that going in. Solid construction and hold their place well within the fin slot. I am a shaper and order lots of fins and these guys are typically my goto. If I lose one or need some more it’s too easy and cheap for me to order some new ones. I will continue to order! I am really impressed with hostevie products!
