Amazing what a difference an inch shorter fin makes on our sometimes very shallow lakes. Seems to be reasonably durable, short of getting a rubber fin. Fits my Red Paddle board perfectly. Shorter and more cutaway than the original fin, so slight loss of stability and increase in maneuverability, and less forgiving of paddle stroke for going in a straight line. That extra inch of clearance has really helped get into some tight spots where wading in the muck would not be an option.

I've been stand up paddling for about five years now, mainly longer paddles , and occasionally some small wave surfing. This fin is almost the exact shape of my favorite fiberglass fin, at a much lower price. I put it on a some what shorter SUP that was slightly unstable on longer paddles, and it definitely helped me hold a straighter glide path on a long paddling session i took yesterday. I like the fact that it has a slight flex to it, without being too soft. I can't wait to try it out on some waves, and I'll probably get another as a backup in case I damage one of my other fins.

This is a nice fin, the design I’m looking for and I wish I could use it, but it’s not a US fin base as stated.There are many fin box designs in use and very confusing for even avid paddlers.Fin description's I see as for a standard US box are actually, a (Surf fin, Long board, or Bahne box) @9 mm wide base, the pin is also lower as the US box fin base @9.2 mm wide. This fin does work on other SUP’s, it’s just not a US box base.If the fin has a wiggle like lateral movement in a US box it’s not a US box base fin.To add to the confusion there are 2 US box’s, A American and E European.I see recommendations as wrap tape or tin from a can around the base as a shim for the solution. I think I’ll find one that fits correctly.I don’t see one actual US base fin on Amazon, if anyone knows of one please point me in that direction.Aloha!

Great fin! Haven't used it yet but installation was a breeze and seems like a quality product. Secure fit with tool less install and I don't think it will fall off like my previous fin which was more expensive.

A nice fin, unfortunately it was not very durable. Used it in a semi big day. It Broke right off. I was sad. I love Ho Stevie's Products. I was given a refund immediately. And I used it on a board sock...WHich is great.. I love that.
