I don’t have much time on these “clamping†hexes but I do want to say that out of all the clamp style hexes I have, this is the first kind where it uses a grub screw to secure it instead of an actual clamp. I always use clamping hexes on high torque and high power applications for my 12mm hex vehicles. I haven’t run into a problem with these as of yet. I do want to find out if they ever fail, if they leave gouges on my axles or if they just loosen up and the screws fall out. But I used a dab of blue thread lock after installing them and have no problem with fitment on any of my 2wd traxxas vehicles. They are definitely interesting as a concept. I wonder if I could use a tiny tap and drill out my stock hexes and put set screws in them as well..? These have decent quality, the threads are cut straight, the grub screws seem like regular tiny grub screws and hopefully these last. I have about a dozen packs on them and after inspecting see no problems thus far.

I’m not sure so I guessed because it didn’t come with instructions but I think the narrow hex is for the rear and the thicker is for front. But they are excellent

Worked and fit good on a traxxas 2wd. Better than the stock plastic hexes that can round out.

two of the 4 hexes didn't seat properly on the shafts retaining pin, seemed like the hexes hole was off center or something.
