I just purchased a Ring weather resistant rechargeable outdoor stick camera for my front walkway. I have been looking for a way to keep it out of the elements we have in Florida (especially the rainy season).This fits perfectly, like it was tailor made by a fashion designer!

Although I was not aware this was going to be soft, rubber material (I guess that is what is meant by silicone) - I thought it would be hard plastic in a 'birdhouse' shape - it does stand up well and actually keeps my non-Ring camera quite dry. Although the material is a bit thin, it is still very well made. I have an indoor camera that I wanted to see if I could use it outdoors. Based on the dimensions, it should have fit over it quite well. However, there is molding material in the 'eave' of the casing that reduces the dimensions by about a 1/2". This makes the casing wobble a bit over the camera - but it does work - and it keeps it dry, surprisingly; camera still functions quite well.

The manufacturer/seller of this product saved my day. I tried in vain to source something like this from Ring and other camera manufacturers and there just isn't much out there, so I am glad I was able to find these. Fits perfectly over my gen 2 cams and provides the sun/moisture protection needed to avoid excess sun and rain in order to be able to mount outside.

I ordered a couple of these covers 2 years ago and they have held up well. I unevenly sprayed some dark green paint in them to camouflage them a bit in the front yard. They felt a bit tight so I simply cut them up the back to make removal easier (for me, anyway.) I finally got around to ordering 2 more for the back yard. Mostly I observe my bird fountain up close with one of the stick up cams--that I find entertaining, especially since I can't sit out on the deck all day seeing who shows up. :-) The 2nd cam has "rover" duty--goes where needed. The latest was to monitor the squirrel that started to show interest in my expensive patio chair cushions. The nighttime videos are even more fun with all the various critters that wander in and out of view on the deck. So, the very 1st night I put the new covers on the cams, here comes the mamma raccoon (3 kits grown and gone); the video records chaos--whiskers, skinny determined hands, crazy motion. Next morning--no cover anyplace. The yard guys and the person who just restained our fence did not see it either. I still can't fathom why that raccoon would wrangle that cover off the cam and carry it off? She's also obsessed with the plastic fountain nozzle, so I have to take it in at night.I'll be ordering another one as soon as I'm done here.

Working out great. The cover looks like a small birdhouse which is great to disguise my outdoor Ring camera. Cover also adds some environmental protection.

I ordered 3, and 2/3 ordered were delivered but the wrong product. I went around in circles with the chat support AI, before i finally got in touch with a human associate, who really had no solution for me other than to find another seller which i couldnt. the 1 I have installed has helped deter some rain from the top but it's not fully protected and i've had to clean the lens multiple times in the last 48 hours.

This is not really what I expected. My fault for not reading the description better. It is basically just a silicone sock you slide over the camera. I thought it was a bit more substantial.However, it does camouflage it a bit and give a bit of more protection.
