Used this for my chevy with a 700R4 transmission / Holley carb and it works great. Bolts on easily and is very sturdy. Instructions say it will also work with 200R4 transmission as well. It is more expensive than it should be, but it is a good product. I would also recommend using the Holley throttle bracket (PN 20-95) to make sure the geometry is correct as well. Holley Carbs using the throttle lever in the picture will work with this product.

Years ago I bought an old '50s hotrod with a SBC transplant with a 700R4. Until that point I had never had a 700R4 and was unaware how finicky the TV cable setup was on it. The previous owner had the correct mounting bracket on the carb, but due to my lack of experience with the transmission I didn't realize the importance of the geometry that this kickdown bracket provides. Along with a separate spring kit (to maintain proper TV cable tension) the transmission is a whole different animal! Much firmer shifts, kicks down when it should, and has seriously woken the car up. Amazing what the details will do. As far as the product itself, a little on the pricier side, but well made and the result is well worth the buy!

Received this with the bubble pack stapled together like a bad return and bolts and nuts were not the original Holley items. Once I found the missing bolts and nuts in the box they shipped it in I was able to use this part but was not happy with the Amazon store for sending a reboxed part.

Like other people have stated, the price is rediculus. they have the same damn thing on Ebay for over half of this price but, on the other hand, Ebay was a weeks worth of waiting do I guess the trade is equal. Idk! But, it did what it was supposed to and now the car shifts better.

This works exactly as described. It bolts on to the existing linkage of the Holley carburetor with the supplied bolts and nuts and then the 700-R4 TV cable lines up with the geometry of the linkage perfectly. You will need to adjust your transmission TV cable for proper movement after install.
