About this item

  • SIZE 8-10 CREW SOCKS: Our crew performance alpaca socks are perfect for year round comfort with light compression, a classic crew style sock elevated. Made with 47% Premium Peruvian Baby Alpaca Fiber, 47% Nylon and 6% Spandex. Available in grey and black and a variety of sizes for men and women.
  • FOR EVERY ACTIVITY: Softer and stronger than most other materials typically found in socks, alpaca fiber continues to prove it can withstand a wide range of activities and adventures. Whether you’re looking for hiking socks, hunting socks, running socks, thermal socks, warm socks, winter socks, ski socks, or just a pair of cozy socks for work or relaxing - the benefits of Hollow alpaca socks will keep your feet comfortable.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT & BREATHABLE: Compared to traditional merino wool socks, alpaca fibers have better insulation properties at a lighter weight. The hollow fibers help regulate any temperature, keeping feet warmer or cooler for much longer periods of time. Alpaca fiber is a unique material that can wick moisture, to help keep feet dry and endure long wear.
  • HYPOALLERGENIC & ITCH FREE: Because alpaca fiber is lanolin-free, our alpaca socks for men and women are hypoallergenic and itch-free. The structure of alpaca fibers is not only soft, it also helps provide a cushion against callus buildups, that may help with blisters and foot health.
  • MADE IN THE USA: Our baby alpaca socks are soft, comfortable, and crafted for easy cleaning. Simply wash in cool water and hang to dry. Designed in Wisconsin by outdoor enthusiasts, and made in North Carolina

  • We chose alpaca over traditional merino because when we put the two to the test, we found that alpaca fiber has better moisture-wicking, and thermoregulating properties. Our feet stayed drier and odorless for longer.

  • Absolutely. Alpaca fibers have excellent thermal properties, providing warmth without bulk. They trap heat efficiently, keeping feet warm in cold conditions. Many people find alpaca socks are warmer than wool socks of the same thickness.

  • Yes, alpaca fibers naturally wick moisture, which helps keep feet dry. This moisture-wicking property is ideal for preventing sweaty feet and blisters, making alpaca socks a great choice for both outdoor activities and everyday wear.

  • Hollow Socks are designed in Appleton, Wisconsin, USA and manufactured in North Carolina, USA. Hollow is operated out of Appleton, WI, USA.

In the past 5 years or so, I really was Darn Tough person. I have 10+ pairs of those socks. I was turned on to Hollow socks through an add, and I gave them a spin. These socks are much softer, warmer, and wear better than Darn Tough. I have benched all of my Darn Tough, and now only wear Hollow. I live in a place where it's below freezing about 5 month of the year and so I wear the socks every day. I would highly recommend these socks for anyone looking for superior softness and extraordinary warmth.

I’ve been a wool socks fan for a long time. I tried Hollow alpaca socks and absolutely love them! This company is the best and their products are top quality. The socks are warm, soft, perfect amount of stretch, and go plenty high up the calf. They completely resist water and snow. Most other companies skimp on the material, but Hollow socks do not do that. I’ll be buying this company products exclusively moving forward. Don’t buy the knock off alpaca socks, stick with a top quality company like Hollow.

I struggle with cold feet at night. These are advertised as warmer than wool socks. And they are supposed to be super comfortable. Let me tell you what i got... the socks are tight fitting. I'm a 10.5 shoe size and selected the large size socks ( fits 10 - 13). These felt like socks old people wear to help with circulation. So not comfortable at all.. unless you want your legs squeezed, then yes there are great. Second, they are thin socks. Literally 1/4 th the thickness of my wool socks. So you feel everything you walk on. Third and most important to me.. they are not warmer than wool socks. I had a wool sock on one foot and the alpaca sock on the other. Big difference. And did i mention $25 for one pair of these alpaca socks? So disappointed

I enjoy the socks and work great in my boots. Only problem is cost and durability. They do a great job at keeping my feet dry in the summer and easy to clean and maintain. Only problem is after the first time wearing them, my boots wore a hole in the socks around the ankle. Very disappointing especially after spending $30 for just a pair. Not sure if I’ll purchase more or go a different route.

I bought these socks for my husband to take on our vacation out west. He is very particular and I was nervous if they would make the cut. They absolutely did. He was very impressed by the softness and also the fact that they kept his feet warm yet cool if that makes sense. Everyone else was scrambling to get their shoes off to take off their socks after the hike and he was in no hurry. He gave them 5 stars which is kind of unheard of for such a critic. Buy the socks! Thank you alpacas!!! 🥰

These socks are good quality and durable, I’ve been using them 5 days a week and they haven’t ripped. They do feel thin, but still warm. They shed and leave lint balls in your boots and on your floor. They’re comfortable in my steel toes but and once you put them on they stay up all day you have to continue pulling them up throughout your day. They did shrink a little but didn’t really change much besides it being a little tougher to put on. The most annoying thing is they come in a 4-pack… so unless you work 4-10’s you won’t have a pair for Friday and I would say they’re pretty expensive.

I can’t say enough about these! They are way better than I could have expected. The quality is fantastic, and I’m so impressed by how well they work. They feel sturdy and reliable, exactly what I was looking for. What stands out to me is how durable they are. I’ve used similar products before, but these have truly outperformed them. They hold up really well with little to no pilling, even with regular use, and I’m confident they’ll last a long time (as long as we don't dry them in the dyer).Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with them. They’ve definitely exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a high-quality, dependable product.

Nice socks. Soft, snug fit but not too tight. Good compression on my calves. Comfortable.

These fit well, soft and not overly thin or tight (but tight enough) to provide some compression on my calves.

I am disappointed in these socks. They are not very warm and they are very tight. I have skinny legs and the tops are very tight. They would not work for people with bigger legs
